A Sweet Beginning

One day Treat creator Marnie Massie noticed dry red patches on her skin that nothing would soothe. Her doctor told her she has eczema and would need to switch to a moisturizing bath instead of the hot showers she enjoyed because they were too harsh for her sensitive skin.

Marnie realized there was a hole in the beauty market for delicious and nourishing natural remedies to soothe her dry sensitive skin. After researching the benefits of natural remedies she found that some of the most delicious ingredients were also good for the skin. Starting in her kitchen Marnie mixed batches of soothing natural and organic ingredients such as shea butter and cocoa butter whipped up with essential oils. Inspired by her favorite food, chocolate, Marnie started making her moisturizing bath treats into delicious truffle shapes and the first Treat, the Cocoa Truffle bath melt was created.

Next Marnie needed to name these sweet, delicious and decadent beauty treats. On her birthday which happened to be Halloween, Marnie came up with a name that fit perfectly, Treat.

Soon buyers from department stores and specialty stores were calling and asking for Treat for their stores. Beauty editors soon followed featuring these decadent beauty treats in their magazines. Now Treat is sold worldwide and loved by many.

Treat became even more successful than Marnie had dreamed and soon customers were asking for more. Treat now makes everything from organic body creams to exfoliating lip scrubs and moisturizing body scrubs, lip balms, organic bubble washes and more.
